- Customer pays all freight and handling. Any carrier surcharges are the responsibility of the receiver.
F.O.B. Origin – Ideal Stitcher Company’s shipping dock (CHICAGO) – “FOB Origin” refers to the legal fact that the buyer assumes title of the goods the moment the freight carrier picks up and signs the bill of lading at the origin pick-up location.
Freight Collect – The freight bill is sent directly to the receiver of goods.
PPD/ADD – Freight charges will be paid to the carrier by Ideal Stitcher Company and billed to the customer on the order Invoice.
Ideal’s products are either shipped in skidded crate or in a carton. If the crate or carton is received visibly damaged it is the responsibility of the receiver of the shipment to so note the damage on the bill of lading prior to signing and to file a claim with the carrier. If after uncrating, concealed damage is noted, it is the responsibility of the receiver of the shipment to file a claim with the carrier, these claims must be filed immediately.
Freight Collect: Receiver handles all freight claims with carrier
PPD/ADD: W.R. Pabich Mfg. Co. DBA Ideal Stitcher Company will extend the courtesy of filing a freight claim with the carrier in the event of damage or loss.
